The National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency provides Moroccans living abroad with a range of information and services enabling them to find out about the procedures in force to benefit from telecommunications services in Morocco under the best possible conditions, or to obtain relevant information on the sector in the case of an investment project:

Researchers and academics can contact the National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications for possible partnerships and collaborative projects.
All users of public telecoms networks can benefit from national roaming in rural areas as part of the universal service. This is a service that enables a subscriber to a mobile communications service to use another provider's mobile network (other than their own operator) without changing their subscription, and at the same price for the services (calls and/or Internet) they use on their original operator's network.
