Following the granting of 5G licenses in July 2025 (Press release dated July 25, 2025), the three national mobile operators are launching their commercial 5G services after having fulfilled their commitments set forth at the time of the commercial launch.
More than 6,000 5G base stations have been deployed and activated, covering more than 50 cities.
The transition from 4G to 5G services is currently provided free of charge, provided users have a 5G-compatible device or smartphone in Morocco. Most offers have been upgraded according to each operator’s criteria, offering more data and talk time for the same price.
