4G Licenses: filing of applications for call for tenders

On March 12, 2015, at the ANRT headquarters, applications were opened in response to the call for tenders launched by ANRT on November 17, 2014, for the award of licenses using 4th generation mobile technologies for the establishment and operation of public telecommunication networks in the Kingdom of Morocco.



Transfer to a new “.ma” domain name management platform

In order to improve the technical and administrative management of “.ma” domain names, ANRT has transferred the management of “.ma” domain names to a new platform designed in accordance with the international standards adopted in this field. This transfer took place on March 1, 2015.

Call for tenders for the award of 4G licenses: extension deadline for submitting tenders

ANRT has decided to postpone the deadline for submitting tenders for the call for tenders for the award of 4G licenses until March 12, 2015.



New decision by ANRT on loop and local IAM loop unbundling

ANRT adopts and publicizes the decision on the terms for unbundling the local loop and sub-loop of Itissalat Al-Maghrib, an operator declared to have a significant influence on the wholesale market for access to the infrastructure making up the local loop.



Access to Itissalat Al Maghrib’s civil engineering facilities is now possible

Itissalat Al-Maghrib (IAM) published its first offer of wholesale access to its civil engineering, under the terms and conditions set out in ANRT’s decision of the 9th of December 2014. Interested operators can now submit requests to IAM to access the physical facilities of its civil engineering.



Radio awareness campaign to identify prepaid mobile subscribers

In April 2014, ANRT defined new rules on the identification of subscribers of mobile phone services. The 3 operators are required to ensure that all mobile card holders (2G/3G) are identified.
