Only equipment complying with models approved by the ANRT and appropriately marked can:
- Be advertised;
- Be connected to a public telecommunications network;
- Be distributed for free or against payment;
- Be put up for sale
- Be held for sale;
- Be imported;
- Be manufactured for the internal market.
Given their technical specifications, some equipment may be exempted from approval.
